Wood Partners and EIG EuroInvestor Break Ground on Alta Longmont Two Hundred Fifty Two Units in Longmont Colorado

Wood Partners and EIG EuroInvestor have broken ground on Alta Longmont, a 252-unit multifamily community in Longmont, Colorado, with delivery planned for spring 2028. The seven-building, three-story development will offer a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment layouts and sit above St. Vrain Creek, providing residents clear views of the Flatirons and direct access to the adjacent greenway.

The site location emphasizes connectivity to outdoor amenities, with opportunities for biking, fishing and walking along the creek corridor, while downtown Longmont remains a short bike ride away. Amenities programmed for the community include a resort-style pool and courtyard with mountain views, an outdoor kitchen and grill area, a fitness center, a resident clubhouse, a business center with private conference rooms and a dedicated dog walking area.

"Our goal is to deliver projects that not only serve residents, but also add to the character and long-term momentum of the surrounding area," said Walter Armer, managing director at Wood Partners.

EIG EuroInvestor is serving as the capital partner on the project. "We're proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Wood Partners to bring much-needed housing to Boulder County," said Kilian Kagel, managing partner at EIG.

Design Balance is the lead architect and Civil Resources is the civil engineer for Alta Longmont. Wood Partners is coordinating infrastructure improvements with the City of Longmont, including the expansion and repaving of Rogers Road, installation of sidewalks, relocation of utility lines underground and upgrades to the sanitary connection serving the site.

Alta Longmont follows Wood Partners' recent Colorado activity, which included breaking ground last year on Alta Metro Center, a 365-unit project in Aurora, and The Foxley by Alta, a 251-unit community in Superior. These projects reflect continued development activity in the region and an emphasis on integrating residential communities with local infrastructure and outdoor assets.

Multifamily Leadership will continue to track Alta Longmont as it progresses through construction and into lease-up, noting the project for its combination of outdoor adjacency, resident-focused amenities and public infrastructure coordination.
